Alex
is a feisty, playful, sharp-clawed, and lovable one-year-old black and
white short-hair kitten. She refuses to come downstairs when Hudson - the
only male of our four cats - is out of his kennel, but walks around like she
rules the roost when he's 'pent-up.' Alex loves to sit perched on the
upstairs banister watching everybody in their day-to-day routines. She
loves an occasional stroke on the underside of her neck, but despises
being held. Maybe she thinks we're going to try and take her to play with
Hudson, we just don't know what her thinking is. She loves to play with
cat toys and wants for you to play with her. She's affectionate until you
pick her up. Then she just wants to escape, sadly, but we love her just
the way she is.
