I
am Stanley's Person, Heather, and I'd like to nominate Stanley because
he is, in my own unbiased opinion (a-hem), the greatest cat on earth.
Stanley needs a little pick-me-up because I am sending this in January,
and it is his least favorite season.
Stanley came to us through a rescue organization that found him as
skinny-as-can-be, and so he was named after Stanley Laurel of Laurel and
Hardy. Like Stanley Laurel, he is a cheeky fellow, and this is partly what
makes him so special and endearing. While I have a chair set in front of
the porch window just for Stanley, he managed to park himself on the porch
table. Upon discovering him, he gave me this look of, "What? You mean I'm
not supposed to sit on the table?" Stanley, an early riser, is also a fan
of pulling the blankets off and biting my husband's toes when the snooze
button is over-utilized and Stanley is ready for breakfast, which also
serves to keep his daddy from being late for work. Stanley's antics are
endless and keep us laughing.
