Snowflake
was dumped in the neighborhood as a nearly grown kitten several
years ago. He roamed around avoiding people while somehow supporting
himself for a year or more before he discovered we had a cat door, a
constantly filled food bowl, a water bowl and a female cat: what more
could a male cat want? He moved in immediately and gave up the scaredy cat
life. He's now as laid back a cat as you will find but with a little
encouragement his previous personality can be summoned. He can get to
playing pretty rough, you will get bloody if you let him get too excited.
No malice involved, just a lot of claws and teeth flying through the air
having fun. One would never recognize him now as the same cat who chased a
raccoon and the neighbors pit bull out of his yard. Oh and yes, if you are
wondering "why Snowflake?" - if you look close through his fur, you will
find a scattering of individual white hairs, his personal snowflakes!
