We
discovered Ami in the first search result - we were looking
for an abandoned cat to share our home. They posted the needy pets by name,
so Ami was the first cat in the website list. We instantly loved
her. After two e-mails, one phone call and a 100-mile drive, my wife
signed the adoption contract, even after they told us that Ami is a very
loud and affectionate little cat.
After almost three years, Ami is the same cat, but she is now a member of our
family. She has her place on the wife's pillow, but she's not allowed in
the kitchen. She has an unique style of 'crying' when we're ready to go
out, and this is making it very hard for us to go even on a short two-day
trip. She's always meowing when one of us is not at home, but she is happy
when she hears our voice over the phone. She's always looking for human
contact, even if it is the first time when she meets a person. She's
enjoying staying outside and looking at everything that moves, but she's
afraid to walk across the edge of the porch, so that's fine. We love Ami!
