Elfie
lives in northern Minnesota, where the winters are fierce. I work at
an animal hospital and one day Elfie came in. A police officer found him
abandoned in a snowbank so he brought him in. I was helping the vet when
she was checking him over and immediately thought I should give him a
home. He had a broken pelvis and a really beat-up bladder. They said it
would take about six weeks for him to heal. Within two weeks he was walking,
and you couldn't even tell anything was wrong with him. Today he is
completely healed and is very healthy. He has a lot of energy and likes to
play with my dogs. I think he is a miracle kitty because if the police
officer wouln't have found him he would certainly have frozen to death.
Instead, today you'd never know he had ever been anything but the funny,
bag-loving kitten he is!
