Would
you believe that this angelic-looking cat is a hellion, trouble
maker, instigator, growler, chaser, whiner, and smacker of other cats?
Well, she is! I adopted her about thirteen years ago from the humane society. I
had just lost a calico to cancer (who had a lovely disposition, mind you)
and figured that another one was just what I needed. I thought Miss Hairy
would be perfect. The name she came with was Precious. HA! But, don't let
all that I have written about her fool you into thinking I don't like her.
I think it's her tough personality that endears her to me. She doesn't
like to be held, but she loves to cuddle up to me in bed. She loves to
make "biscuits" on me and her favorite position is sitting right on my
chest. Getting a teaspoon of baby food and getting brushed are her two
favorite things. As soon as I get out of bed in the morning, she takes
over my spot and keeps it warm for me - all day, which she considers her
important job. Occasionally, she forgets herself, and becomes very sweet.
I love her very much. I can't say the same for my three other cats,
though, they don't quite love her as much as I do! I do love all my cats, though.
