This
is Al Dente Pacino but she can just go by Al (yes, SHE!). My roommate
and the time and I decided to call our new kitten Al Pacino since her
markings looked like she was wearing a gangster suit and we're big Al
Pacino fans. Turned out the man of our house was a girl, but she could
pull the name off so we kept it. Al is about seven years old now and has been
with me since I was in college. She has lived with me in a few different
states and always makes any new place feel like home. Al surprised us all
when she grew from a petite, sorta fluffy kitty into the incredibly fluffy
and large looking (it's really all fur!) kitty that she is today. I think
she's a Norwegian Forest Cat.
Al is a sweetheart and follows me everywhere in the house. She takes
awhile to warm up to people, but once you're in with Al, you're in for
good. She loves being brushed and having her belly rubbed. She is an
excellent sleeper and loves cardboard boxes. Al has had a few kitty
friends along the way as we've moved around and loves them all. She's
great with other cats. Al also is great at catching socks and towels which
she carries around meowing. Al has been a very special part of my life for
the past several years and she seems to sneak into the hearts of everyone
she meets. How can anyone resist that face?
