I
first met Valencia four years ago at a wonderful no kill shelter in
Brooklyn, New York. I loved it so much that I still volunteer there. Valencia
was tough, he had been brought in to the shelter as a kitten in a shoe
box! By children. He was adopted and after sometime with his new owner,
who decided that he wanted a girlfriend and Valencia was no longer
welcome. Thus, where our story begins. I was take with his regal looks and
tough guy attitude. He did not back down. He ruled, often showing the
other cats that he was truly king of jungle. I was his foster mom for two
years, before finally just taking him home with me.
I was getting a divorce at this point in time and when I finally moved out
Valencia never let me have a down day. He is funny, often attacking, love
taps, me if I hesitate giving him the attention he craves, and deserves. I
can't imagine my live without him. Valencia, king of the jungle and my heart.
