Hi,
I would like to introduce my cat Tia. In late summer 2003 a neighbor
close by adopted two white cats, a brother and sister, as their owners
were emigrating and couldn't take the cats with them, the pair had
already been adopted once before. For the first month or so we often saw
the boy in our garden and he was very friendly, but didn't hang about,
then one day my eyes met his sister's who had taken a lot longer to come
out, and the rest as they say is history. Tia definitely wanted to live
with us, we think maybe she liked the idea of being an 'only cat' as not
only did she share her new home with her brother there were two other
cats and a little dog! I lost count of the times I had to take her home
as she would sit looking in our window, crying and scratching for hours,
it was heartbreaking.
Then in November 2003 my Dad died and in the evening after his funeral I
let Tia in and I came to a decision, I went to call on my neighbor and
without my hardly saying anything they were passing her vet papers to me
and we all decided Tia would be a lot happier with us. From that day she
only went back to that house once, even though it was fairly close, and
her brother continued to call so they 'kept in touch' and here we are six
plus years on, and we still love each other to bits. She is one of the
best things that has ever happened to me.
