My
baby's name is Manny. Manny was only two weeks old when my husband
found him under a building where he worked. There were six of the
kittens and the mother had left them. Manny was the only Tabby and the
only bob tail. My husband called him stripy pants. My husband gave me
Manny for Mother's Day. I spent the first night in a chair with Manny
wrapped in a blanket to keep him warm and safe. I spent the next few
weeks dropper feeding him till he could eat alone.
One night when my husband and I were sleeping I felt something crawling
under the covers between my husband and I and it was Manny, that was the
first time he got in the bed with us. Now when he wants me to get up he
will get in the bed with me and tap me on my back or shoulder till I am
up. Manny loves eating out of my hand, when he wants to eat he will tap
me on my hand and I enjoy feeding him his dry food that.
Manny and my husband will play chase and what my husband calls "Kitty on
the bed" which is were my husband will go into the bedroom and start
saying "is there a kitty on the bed" and then Manny will run and jump in
the middle of the water bed and roll over on his back with his paws in
the air. He and my husband will start playing and boxing one anther.
Manny brings us never ending joy. He makes our house a home full of love.
