Quincy, the Cat of the Day
Name: Quincy
Age: Two years old
Gender: Male
Kind: Domestic Short Hair
Home: Ohio, USA

Quincy (named for John Quincy Adams) is a rescue cat. He was found, in the pouring rain, chained with a dog. He was terribly thin and had a major, complicated, long lasting flea problem, but through it all he maintained an even and delightful disposition. Thankfully, it's over. He lives with his little cat brother AJ (named for Andrew Jackson) the president that followed. Neither is very presidential in attitue, though. Quincy has very long legs and loves using them to get to the high spots also racing the house with AJ. He prefers soft places for sleeping, especially a pillow we cal "his throne". He is incredibly stubborn and can be quite a busybody. He doesn't care for people food, but nothing stops him from sitting on the kitchen counter during clean-up. Another pleasure is a sock filled with catnip and he likes being brushed. Most of his day is spent sitting on the window sill watching the squirrels and birds He never misses a phone call from my daughter, it's hard to understand and even explain, but when she calls, he is there. All in all Quincy is a wonderful, spirited little boy, full of fun and love.
