This
is Purrsephone Lorena. We live in a small community called Garner
in Texas. She is a little over a year old. She was born about April 29,
2010 to a feral cat living at a farm and ranch supply store. My grandson
works there and one day when he came home, his little brother found her
in the back of his truck. She had ridden sixteen miles in the back of that
truck! That was in August of 2010 and the vet determined that she was
about four months old at that time. His family did not want her, so I
brought her to my home. She instantly bonded with me and if I even
looked at her, she would start purring, thus the name Purrsephone. She
has a crook in her tail that points to wherever she is headed. She loves
to get under the covers when I make the bed in the morning and we call
that playing "Mole kitty". Another of her favorite things is watching
the hummingbirds eat at the feeder. She is completely inside and has won
over the hearts of her adopted kitty brothers, two that are twelve years old
and one that is twenty. She is very happy and never in a bad mood. She likes
to play chase with my granddaughter and grandson, but she also likes to
hide from them when she gets tired. We have found most of her hiding
places, but she still has some that only she knows! She is a total joy
and has brightened our lives considerably.
