AJ
(Andrew Jackson) lives with his cat brother Quincy (J. Quincy Adams)
the president preceding him.
At seven months AJ became an unwanted cat. His owner decided he disrupted
her older, more beautiful cats and basically advertised him away. We got
him and he is special. AJ will never be a big boy, he will never be
beautiful but he has big ideas, is softer than any stuffed animal and wins
the cute award every day. Initially he was shy, but has become an explorer
extraordinaire and quite the charmer. He is very vocal, full of attitude
and best described as an elitist. He has also become a thief. He has
stolen the following, mostly for batting around: grapes, fish oil capsule,
pistachio, pretzel, eye drops, lollipops, pencil, nail file, rubber bands,
earring, milk bottle rings and his favorite - twist ties.
Catnip is beneath him. He looks down his elitist nose with disdain while
Quincy frolics in it. He then leaves the room in total disgust. His
favorite toy is a sparkly ball. He chases, runs, jumps and loses all
dignity for his sparkly ball.
AJ is little but mighty, unpredictable, personable, curious, funny and a
great addition to our home.
