Introducing
Eisenhower Barnard as Pet of the Day. He is a two-year-old
Manx cat and a complete trouble maker! He was adopted from a rescue
charity in London, England. He spends his days running around in circles,
eating and terrorizing his sisters! He also likes to climb into wardrobes
and laundry baskets and go to sleep. He doesn't like cuddles or being
picked up unless he feels like it and is very good at getting in between
his owner's legs and tripping him up. Eisenhower also loves playing fetch
with any form of catnip cuddly toy.
His rather ironic nickname is the 'Stealth Cat' as he is so heavy footed
that I often mistake his movement in the flat for the sound of an Elephant
stampeding across the African plains! You'd never suspect that from such a
slender cat, would you? But he is altogether lovable, even when he is sick
on the carpet! I do love my "Howie."
