About Us
Sally, the Cat of the Day
Name: Sally
Age: Six years old
Gender: Female
Kind: Domestic Shorthair
Home: Pittsburg, Kansas, USA

This is our white with gray spots cat, Sally. She is six years old, and we have had her and her orange brother Linus since they were kittens. The people who had them briefly got them from their cousins, whose barn kitty had a litter of kittens. They only had them a month and they had to move out of state. I named them after the characters from the Peanuts comic strip. Sally is a petite kitty, unlike Linus who is a big cat. Sally is a sweet kitty who loves living on our farm east of Pittsburg Kansas. She is definitely a huntress, the mice and field rats better watch out with Sally around. All the cats like to get up on the round bales of hay, especially Sally. I think they like to have a good field of vision from the higher position, it reminds me of the Cheetahs of Africa using termite mounds to look around the area. Sally even takes naps up on the hay bales.

Sally gets along with all the dogs and other kitties on the farm, her brother Linus is the one cat who sometimes causes cat fights. It is what we call his bad cat-ittude! Sally has very soft fur, she enjoys us petting her. She doesn't play with store bought toys, she likes crunchy leaves and other nature made things to investigate. We think she is a pretty cat with her pink nose and white fur, then her gray markings make her unique looking. We are very happy that Sally is our kitty.
