We
believe Buster is mostly Maine Coon, although he could be a mix.
his coloring is just beautiful. He came to us within two months after we
had lost our beloved Smokey. We were not certain we were ready for another
cat yet, but a good friend and coworker knew of a stray kitten that needed
a home. She talked us into meeting with her friends who had found the
little guy and of course it was love at first sight. Buster came home with
us the same day and he has been a delightful addition to our home and our lives.
Buster is an active cat who loves to run around the house at top speed and
get into as much trouble as possible. He jumps up on any surface- the
higher the better. He loves to pick a fight and will rise up and take
swipes at his "dad" like a tiger in a circus act. He has had about five
different “mouse on a wand” type toys, which he has chewed in half within
days or sometimes hours. He loves to play fetch with whatever is handy-
usually a drinking straw. He will run after it and slide across the
kitchen floor to get it, and then carry it back and drop it at our feet so
we can throw it again. He also has a large plastic ring toy with a ball
inside in which he loves to curl up and take naps when he is finished
playing. Buster has become more and more affectionate as time goes by and
runs to get some quality attention and loving when we come home from work.
He loves to roll over and stretch and get his tummy rubbed. He's such a
beautiful and sweet cat!
We are so grateful to our friends who helped us find Buster, and we are so
happy to have this special guy in our lives.
