Graycie
is a dilute tortoiseshell cat. Part of her nose is even pink.
Graycie is a very friendly cat, she loves to come up to people and rub
against your leg, so you can't forget to pet her. Graycie is a mellow cat,
but can be very playful with laser lights, furry mouse toys, and string.
We lost Graycie one year right before Christmas, I put an ad in the local
paper and some people had found her and called us after reading the ad.
What is amazing is that the people who found her live just four blocks from
our workplace, that meant that Graycie most likely rode in the engine of
one of our vehicles. Work is about four miles away from home, and we are so
grateful she wasn't hurt or killed in her "joyride". I wonder how many
other cats are displaced by riding inside engines. We now honk the horn on
our vehicles before we leave but usually I know where they are now, I
changed the cat's treat time to the morning, so they are all inside eating
when we leave for work, just to be safe.
