Hello
everyone! My name is Whiskers and I am a very beautiful and snooty
black and white Tuxedo cat! I am the elderly gentleman of our household. I
am nearly twenty years old! I came to my daddy when I was a tiny baby
kitten in San Antonio. Daddy and I lived alone until my mommy came into
our lives. Then I had to share daddy with mommy and that did not make me
too happy. Daddy and mommy then adopted a little brother for me to play
with and I was no longer the only child. A few months later, they adopted
a second brother for me. Both my brothers were homeless and I guess it was
a good idea that daddy and mommy took them into our home.
I love have my morning milk in my special bowl on the big kitchen window
ledge. Unfortunately because I am so old I cannot always jump up there for
my milk. Daddy has to gently put me up on the ledge so I can drink my
milk. I sleep curled up next to my daddy on the couch, in a chair or in
bed every night. I love my daddy so much. Mommy is "ok" but I dearly love
my daddy. When mommy and daddy moved to New Mexico they took me and my
brothers along with them. I love sleeping in the sun. I don't run around
so much anymore. I am just too old and too tired. Mommy and daddy take
good care of me. They don't make me work. I just sleep a lot and wait for
our treats every morning and every evening! If mommy and daddy are gone
for the day, I am in charge of the house. I make my little brothers
behave. I lay on the floor, cross my front paws and "pray". Mommy and
Daddy call us their "Three Amigos"! I hope I am able to be with my mommy
and daddy for another twenty or so years. I know this is not very exciting
reading but I am just a tired old cat who loves the sun, daddy, mommy and
my brothers. I sleep most of the time and getting my treats is my
excitement now. I hope all the other cats out there are as happy as I am
and have had as good a life and home as I have had. I will write to you
again in twenty years to let you know how things are going!
