Big
Red was adopted by us from the Cats Protection League when he was
already a young adult - so we don't know his age for sure, but assume he's
around sixteen. His previous owner had to go into an old people's home and
couldn't take this lovely boy with her... so we spotted him at a vet
clinic's open day display up for adoption and couldn't resist his cruisy,
laid-back manner. He's been a great addition to the family. He takes
everything in life in his stride, new additions, the loss of friends (our
Scottish Fold Meg died from cancer when she was five), and helps us
through it all. He even gets along with our Rottweiler just fine! He sits
on the spa pool edge when we're in there... and trails his tail in the
water, silly chap! We love him.
