Rembrandt
introduced himself to us during a "senior" adoption event in
Greenville, Texas in 2011. He is a calm, elderly gentleman, used to the finer
things in life. The vet thought he was at least twelve, and possibly quite a
bit older than that.
Rembrandt has opinions on many matters, and will offer suggestions on
closed doors, wet pavement and obtaining his fair share of a warm bed. His
manners are always perfect, however - even when he has to raise his voice.
His duties include eating moths (very slow ones) and keeping watch out the
front window. He also helps with folding clean laundry.
Some have suggested he has a slight overbite, and that he might be a bit
portly. On the other hand, those of us who live with him every day point
out that his cinnamon coat is luxurious, his demeanor is always courteous,
and his lap-cat-ability is unsurpassed. So keep your remarks to yourself,
please, and Rembrandt asks could you scoot over a little?
