The
first time I saw Sasha at the pet store, I knew I was going to take
her home. She is a sweet, loving, expressive and gentle cat. Sasha loves
to play with shoelaces - if one isn't laced into a shoe, she holds one
end in her mouth and drags it from room to room while she meows to get
someone to play with her. She also loves falling asleep in a sunny spot,
watching birds through a window and chasing after the point of a red
laser. Sasha likes to be close to me, so she follows me no matter where
I go. She even sits on the edge of my bathtub when I bathe.
On cold nights (or just after being bathed), Sasha likes to curl up on my
stomach or on my legs under my blankets to sleep. She never bites me or
anyone else, even if we do something she may not like or we accidentally
hurt her, though she will give us a gentle warning nibble. Sasha is very
curious and loves being in small places so much that she once climbed
through a hole in a wall behind a water heater at my friend's house
while they were watching her one day. It was a scary experience, but I
got her out after a couple of hours (and I took apart the wall) and she
was fine. I'm so glad I have her in my life!
