Despite
her "angry-looking face," P-nut is an incredible sweetheart who
loves just about everyone. She also enjoys sunbathing (inside and out),
cuddling with her people in the wintertime, and bird watching. P-nut also
enjoys getting her picture taken, and will pose seemingly by accident if a
camera is around. People have often commented on how large she looks, but
she is really quite small without her winter coat, which gets the smallest
of trims in the summer to keep her comfortable.
I adopted her from a lady whose cat had recently had kittens, and P-nut
was one of the last remaining. My mother was worried I wouldn't like her
because of her face, but it was love at first sight. We took her home and
we have been together nearly our entire lives. I know that now I would be
very lonely without her.
I typically like to brush her once a day to keep her coat nice. She's had
problems with it knotting up in the past. When she's in the mood to play,
her favorite game is to chase and swat at a string with a ball on the end
of it. Sometimes I tire out before she does! She's just the best.
