I
want to introduce the world to our Siamese, Drama Queen. She was rescued
from a local animal shelter. She was scheduled to be euthanized the next
day when we met. The moment I saw her I knew she was coming home with me.
The vet told me that she was about two years old when I adopted her. She
has been with us for seven years now, so is about nine years old.
I believe her previous owners must have had allergies because every time I
sneeze, she gets frightened and runs off. My Drama Queen is all Siamese.
By this I mean she is very loud and vocal, which is how she got her name.
She sleeps between my legs every night and is always looking for a lap to
lay on. She is very demanding of attention, She even expects you to hold
her tail so she can clean it. And she always rewards good pets and
scratches with head butts.
Drama Queen is also very motherly to her younger sister, Vicious Beast. It
took a while for those two to get along, but now Drama Queen is always
checking up on her and takes time to clean her ears. She also loves to
sleep all day in our linen closet. We love her very much!
