Last
Easter time, I noticed a little grey and white kitten under our
garden table. For a few days he seemed to be living there in his own
little den. After a while, he plucked up the courage to venture into the
house, and eat some dinner. My old cat Mr Woo seemed happy to have him
around, and soon he was christened Fuzzbomb, as he was a little ball of
furry energy, with the fluffiest tail, almost bigger than the rest of him.
Pretty soon, I took him to the vet, and found he had a microchip - turns
out, over the course of a month or so, he had somehow trekked a couple of
miles across the wilds of South West London, crossing main roads, railway
lines, and goodness know what else, to find a new home with us. His
original family, who had very reluctantly given him up for lost, came to
visit, and very kindly allowed him to stay, as they had two new kittens at their house.
Over the last year or so, Fuzzbomb has brought us much joy, laughter and
tears (when his claw mistakenly ended up in my eye...ouch!) His favorite
game is the Cat Olympics, his favorite spot is in his own cardboard box,
and his favorite food is cheese (and lots of it). We love him, and feel so
lucky he chose our house to make his new home!
He would love to let other other kitties that even if you are lost, there
will always might be someone somewhere to find you.
