I
would like to introduce my cat Bella. Bella (a.k.a. Bell-Boo, a.k.a.
Madame Maow Maow) came to live with us in December 2011 after my
grandmother passed away.
It's been many years since either of us have had a cat in our lives, but
it has been wonderful to rediscover the joy that a cat bring into your
life. She is an indoor kitty now, although she was always nervous about
going outside anyway. She prefers plastic bags and scrunched up pieces of
paper to most cat toys, however her "mousey" is never far away. Bella
loves her food and is mad about tuna, even jumping on us in our sleep at
6am when it's breakfast time! Yes, it's rather annoying, but we forgive
her every time!
Bella is very much a lap cat & likes nothing more than curling up on one
of us while we read or watch TV.
Having Bella around has enriched our lives and has helped us to cope at a
sad time in our lives. For that alone, we think she should be honored.
