Cooper
is our special kitty. He is two years old and he very much enjoys the
daily routines in our household. He sleeps soundly on the end of the bed each
night, and come 5 a.m., with one small meow he says, "I'm awake and you
should be, too." Once he figures you're awake, he goes gently to your face
and lightly touches you with a paw, as if just to make sure you're going to
get up, too.
Cooper loves to find unique places to take a little cat nap. We have found
him in the bathroom sink, the bathtub, in the closet in the laundry basket,
but I think the best was when we found him comfortably sleeping in the
laundry washing machine when we had left the lid up. Cooper loves to explore
outside. He is intrigued by all the birds and squirrels, but what he has the
most fun with are the insects. He bats them around a bit and jumps wildly
after the flies and bees, and I'm pretty sure he has eaten a few carpenter
ants. Cooper is very friendly to all the people he meets, he loves the
attention. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful kitty to call our own.
