This
is our tabby cat Marley. We just happened to be in Petsmart one day and
a worker was walking around with her trying to see if anyone wanted her. She
was too little to be left in a cage. She was four weeks old and should have
still been with her mom. Someone had found Marley and brought her to
Petsmart. It was our lucky day, my daughter and I saw her and knew she was
meant to be ours.
We named her Marley because when we brought her home, we brought her to our
daughter's play room and started thinking of a name. We looked at the books
on her book shelves and saw "Marley and Me." That was it! Now she is a
healthy happy cat. We have another cat, Jake, who is only seven months old, who
keeps Marley very active. Marley has a special bond with our seven-year-old
daughter. Marley runs to our daughter when she is crying or hurt. She wakes
her up every morning by banging into her head and purring in her ears. At bed
time, Marley cuddles our daughter to say goodnight. She is a very important
member of our family.
