This
is Kassidy. She is ten years old now, but she was all of three months
old when we met on March 10th, 2002. This angel found me at the local
Humane Society when I was looking for my next best friend. She stuck her
paws out of the cage and begged for a forever home. How could I refuse?
Besides being very sweet and loving, we have long conversations as she
asks me about my day and I about hers. Kassidy doesn't pass up an
opportunity to cuddle on my lap and bombard my body with head bumps. She
will sleep on my lap or in bed with me as long as I'm there. She knows how
to ask for an ice cube for her drinking water which I think allows her to
better see the surface of the water. She lives with Chloe, a beautiful
Siamese look-a-like. Although they aren't the best of friends, quite often
there are some rousing play times of hide and seek. We are now working on
her losing weight, as at ten years old, we know she should weigh as much as
she does! I love her very much.
