Here
is my beloved companion, Milou. I named his name because his body
color is milky grey, also named after the famous cartoon "TINTIN" - the main
character TINTIN's dog. I found him at animal shelter in New York city in
1999 when he was one year old. I never had a cat before him so he is my
first cat. When I was at the shelter, I saw many other cats meowing to me
desperately. But Milou was different. He was sitting quietly facing
backward and seemed having no interest getting anyone's attention not like
other cats. So I got a little curious and opened his cage. When I saw his
face at first sight, I fell in love with him! He had so much funny
character in his face and his reaction was like a slow loris I thought.
Now he is living in Tokyo with his one year younger brother who is also
from the same shelter.
When I come back home from work, he is always at the door waiting and jump
up on the table and kiss my forehead. He has very layback character,
taking care of his younger brother giving his fluffy tummy as a pillow. He
snores laud when he sleeps which is very funny. His favorite food is
vanilla ice cream and plain yogurt. No other flavor. He is very friendly
to anyone especially to a lady. When I hold him, he always tilt his tiny
head and rubs to my cheek.
Talking about his favorite toy, when he hears rustling sound of cheap thin
plastic bag, he goes crazy and gets into the bag, and stays inside for a
while. That is his favorite toy so far. He is very economical cat. He
though up when he eat too fast every once a while. I wish him to eat more
slowly. I love him so much. He is my treasure.
