Muffin
Marie was adopted from a "No Kill" shelter shortly after Christmas
2007. She loves to sit on my chest and lap when I'm watching television and
could sleep there for hours if I didn't have to move my arm that's almost
going numb!! She is an indoor cat and we live on the second floor
overlooking a cool pond. There are six white geese that come and "visit"
Muffin almost very day! She also sits nose to nose with some young
squirrels that jump on the branches of the tree right outside our
(enclosed) balcony.
My husband taught her how to play fetch and he makes little paper balls and
throws them. She brings them back and they play this game for a long time!
We have a grandfather clock that has been in the family for generations and
Muffin decided she was going to jump on top of it one day. It took some
doing but we managed to break her of that habit. Muffin has a "sister"
Scruffy and they sleep and play together all the time. They are
inseparable!! We love her very very much.
