My
pet's name is Grace. She is female of course. Grace was rescued along
with her brother Buddy from the maintenance building behind the Grace
Brethren Church in Owings, Maryland by a nice lady from 'Friends of Felines' cat
rescue. We were already going to adopt Buddy, but when we found out about
Grace we could not bear to separate them so Grace decided she would tag
along too. We brought them home at six weeks old. Sadly we lost Buddy to cancer on December 12th, 2011.
Grace has many titles and nicknames. She is a Princess, on her way to
Queendom. She tolerates being called Fuzzy Britches and Brownie, or Brown
girl, but prefers to be referred to as 'Her Royal Highness.'
Grace is definitely a girlie girl, she is petrified of storms. Even if she
hears hard rain she finds her Daddy and burrows her head under his arm.
Last week we had a hard rain at night and she slept under the sheets with
me. I had to take her there and incurred several puncture wounds. Of course
I prayed it didn't thunder while I carried her, thank goodness It did not
and I had ample Band aids. She does an awe inspiring magic disappearing act
when the doorbell rings also.
She loves tuna and her refillable catnip mousie and I think she is pretty
fond of her 'Cat Daddy.' I know her Cat Daddy loves her to pieces!
