This
is my cat, his name is Loki, and he is coming up to seven months old.
He is a Norwegian Forest cat and is completely white. He lives here in
Norway in a little village called Vartdal on the west coast.
He actually almost got seriously hurt the other day
after a man went over him with his car right in front of me. He was
missing for about two hours after he ran off, but I wasn't sure if he was
hurt or not. I finally found him scared and shaking in a nearby abandoned
garage. I was in a such a mess, but he was okay. He is a beautiful smart
little cat and he has brought a lot of joy already to me and my partner so
I definitely want to honor him, oh and as you can see in one picture he
sleeps in really strange positions and that alone is cute enough.
Loki's daily routine goes like this: I normally get
woken up by him at 7 am, he comes in purring and shoves his head under my
chin. If that doesn't work he tends to bite my hair! I feed him, then I
let him out. He loves going out in the morning and tends to get very hyper
and runs in and out of the house a lot for a few hours. He then comes in
and sleeps the rest of the day. During his sleepy time he is sweet and
affectionate, but in typical teenager style only when he wants. You can't
go to him for too long and stroke him. He will greet you kindly to start
with, but if you carry on and he's not in the mood he will get up and walk
off! When he likes to cuddle, he likes to come over and put his paw on my
face then he goes and sits by me and curls up.
Now at night, it's like ninja Loki comes out. He is
very energetic and attacks anything that moves, including feet and legs
although when he does this he never uses claws and he doesn't really bite
properly. He loves the strings on the blinds and goes for them a lot and
he loves to leap around in the air like a loon. I set up tasks for him to
do. He loves chasing a string so I have been doing things like putting it
in places that are hard to get to like the seat of the exercise bike and
then he has to work out how to get it ... he is very smart and always
manages it. I encourage him to jump on and off of the furniture as it is
good exercise, I pull the string up and down across the sofas and chairs
and he follows, he's a little Rambo! He is the sweetest cat. He's a
typical cat in that he's the boss, though!
