Lily
was rescued from behind our apartment building on the Lower East Side
as a young thing, and although she's extremely sweet and beautiful, she
hasn't completely forgotten her feral ways, even after eight years. She won't
allow herself to be petted with hands, only feet! And she loves to rub
against legs. She's made friends with other of our cats, particularly our
top cat Frankie, on whom Lily has a big crush.
Lily's personality is a little hard to discern, because she tends to keep
her distance. When visitors arrive, she heads for the hills! As for games
... she is not really into them, she's getting a little old for that, and
a little plump. But she really loves Frankie, and tries to snuggle with
him whenever possible. She's quite fond of eating (obviously). She also
simply loves a vigorous petting of her head - with your foot, though - no
hand allowed! We love our plump lovely girl!
