This
is Persik. He is special because he was abandoned. We got him in
December of 2004 when he was about one year old, and he has been a loved
cat ever since. He is proof that you can find purebred cats like him in
rescue, you do not need to buy them from some expensive breeder as he is
obviously all Persian!
At seven pounds he is somewhat small. He doesn't like to go outside
because he is afraid of sounds around him. Persik is not an active cat and
spends most of his time sleeping on the sofa. With age he is becoming less
active and playful. With all that fur, he hates to be brushed but he loves
to take baths, unlike most cats! He doesn't know any tricks and doesn't
play with his toys now; however, he loves to play in plastic bags and
boxes. In the pictures where he is on a chair, that is one of his favorite
places to be. He does have a cat bed, but prefers that chair. He is
friendly and sweet, but very independent. He isn't a lap cat. We love him very much.
