Fudge, the Cat of the Day
Name: Fudge
Age: Two years old
Gender: Female
Kind: Calico
Home: England

Fudge is an active, energetic and friendly cat and gets along quite well with Rainey (which is my other cat) whom she has grown up with. Fudge is extremely adventurous so she's never indoors so taking a picture of her was proven to be extremely difficult unless she's sprawled out across the garden path, which she is doing here in the picture. I'd normally find her up on my window sill staring aimlessly out of the window in search for any passing cars or urban creatures such as foxes or any other cats venturing outside, the funny thing is when she does see a passing car or a person she'll suddenly become extremely hyper and race around my room and most of the time wakes me up in the night by jumping on my stomach or head etc. Like most cats, Fudge likes to watch my four mice when I sleep or when I'm at college, whenever my bedroom door is open really, if given the chance I'm sure she would worm her way into the cage but hopefully that day will never come. Fudge is also an excellent runner it's impossible to catch her, it's a struggle to get her in at night since we like to make sure that all the cats are in the house before 9 o'clock as you can guess she runs way too fast.

Fudge also likes to chase anything that moves so this could be a feather drifting along with the wind, a straw that had been left on the floor by mistake, small buttons which she'd normally pick up in her mouth and carry the object around in her mouth until she drops it again. Fudge also likes to sleep in the garden rather than being indoors which my other cat does, she has claimed a full flower pot which also has smallish plants growing from the soil but I don't think the cat seems to mind and Fudge would sleep there throughout the entire day unless she's disturbed, although she's not a fan of rain or thunder or anything else along those lines so she'd eventually worm back indoors through an open window (that's if the backdoor isn't open) and sit in her usual spot which is the sofa along with our youngest Westie named Pippa. Even if she doesn't like Pippa that much, she still chooses to sleep with her and normally pressed against her, it's quite cute really.

My sister is also quite fond of Fudge as well as am I, and so is the rest of my family but me and my sister the most. We both try and encourage her to sleep on our beds or on the bedroom floor just somewhere in our room but she never does it. Unless she's in one of her happy moods where she'll go and find either me, my sister or my brother and seek attention and most of the time she usually gets it which doesn't bother us really until she malts all over us but that's cats for you! Other than this we all generally love her, she's such a cute little cat and most of the time acts like kitten! Well maybe we compare her to a kitten because she has a kitten-like meow. It's adorable!
