This
is our cat Ralphy, he is seven months old. Ralphy is very special as
he is a one of a kind kitten. Not only does he have the spirit of a tiger
but he also has epilepsy, making him even more unique. His two different
colored eyes could even be said to represent his two different sides; the
cuddly, smoochy, lovable cat and the fierce, playful and sometimes crazy tiger.
Ralphy often wakes us up in the morning with his loud meows, he is an
attention seeking cat who you always know is in the room. Ralphy is
incredibly playful and will pounce on almost anything that moves,
including one's feet.
He is very friendly and does not hesitate to greet our visitors, sometimes
even before we do. Ralphy knows how to sit and be gentle, but only at his
own discretion. He is very lovable and often likes to snuggle up under the blankets.
He loves to run around and sometimes leaves us all in a whirl. Just his
morning he managed to run down the staircase, clearing half of the stairs
in one jump. He loves bird watching and often we think he tries to talk to
them through the window. He often sits at the window for hours looking out
amongst the local wildlife, but birds are his favorite.
He loves to climb things, including the flyscreen on the the doors and
windows and he especially loves his cat tower, upon which he looks out the
window and watches the cars go past. We often think he thinks he is king
of the house and he often wrestles with our other cat, Felix and our dog,
Ebby. His favorite place to perch is on top of our heater. He loves to
lounge about on top or in front of the heater and often lies there for
hours soaking up the warmth. His favorite toy is a foil ball we made for
him. He loves to run and chase around this small ball, but only if there
is someone there to flick it for him.
He is a cheeky cat and sometimes likes to jump in the shower whilst there
is someone in there and he often knocks vases over when trying to rub his
face on the flowers. He has a strange love for water and he loves flicking
his paws in his water bowl and making a mess. He also loves jumping in the
bath, when there is no or little water in there, and leaving muddy paw
prints all over the bath. Whenever we turn a tap on we are always wary in
case a flying kitten comes to try and attack the 'magic' coming out of the
tap. He is a very loud kitten and often we have conversations with him,
with him meowing and us talking back and forth with him. Sometimes we even
think he understands what we are saying. He is a lovable kitten with a
great personality, he can be a handful at times but overall we love him
and wouldn't have him any other way!
