Bubba
Chibs is our marmalade Ginger Shorthair. Bubba Chibs came to us
unexpectedly when we visited the local Petsmart where they have kitty
adoptions. We had already adopted three other kitties from this organization
and we weren't looking for another but the woman who runs it begged us to
take another. She only had a couple left and desperately needed a vacation
before the Spring onslaught of newborns. Once we held Bubba Chibs, he
purred loudly and was very affectionate. We weren't sure how he would get
along with the other slightly older kitties but Chibs was fearless! Even
to this day, he fears nothing. He has wormed his way into everyone's
hearts and is now a sleeping buddy with the larger Ginger cat, Jax. Right
off the bat, Chibs would play fetch with the toys, dropping them at your
feet after racing through the house after them. He's full of energy and
has the most beautiful coloring and patterns on his fur. I won't make him
out to be a little angel because he sure is a little rascal at times but
who can resist that cute face?
