This
is Percy, short for perseverance. He is a Bengal oriental/ocicat boy!
The reasoning behind the name for this magnificent cat is mainly the struggle
we had to go through to get him! The people who owned him had moved and left
him with friend of theirs, this would of been all right if it wasn't for the
fact that the friend had two German Shepherds, so they could not keep him. We
fell in love with this little kitty the second we saw the pictures of him, we
sent them a message straight away and asked if we could be the lucky people
to adopt him. It only took a few hours before we got a response. We headed
off to meet this new kitty of ours, the only problem was that we had a
problem with our car, we found that out half way down a steep hill leading to
this families house. We finally got there and the first thing we saw was this
little kitten being carried out to the car and he jumped straight in to
investigate. We loved him and he seemed to like us, he was mjau'ing and
cuddling us the whole way home! Ever since that day he has always mjaued at
us (loudly) when ever he wants food or wants out, but he is so special and he
loves rough play and play fights, because he know he will win over any human!
Other than that he is just an amazing cat, he loves everyone and everything
he sees. Oh and he loves to lick plastic bags and bug our little chihuahuas
because he is bigger than them and knows that he is the boss of the house!
