She
is Phebe! She didn't have the best start in life, and unfortunately she
was dropped! I live near a creek that fills with water only when it rains,
and it is a favorite dumping destination for those who want to get rid of
whatever. I left home to go to school one day, accompanied by my cat Bobo.
(He's like a dog, always accompanies me up under the bridge and then goes
back home.) I stepped under the bridge and he ran forward because a car
arrived, around the the curve I saw a white thing flying down to the brook!
Scared, I thought I had better investigate because of my cat. I went down to
check but it was a bag containing a differentcat. Phebe, which I found on
Friday 17 (which flies in the face of those who believe in bad luck). I
rescued her, and she has been with me ever since!
That was eight years ago, and as you can see she is still going strong, and has
gotten to be a beautiful cat. And it is funny, even at her age, she is very
naughty! Despite her age still plays like crazy! paper balls, ropes, puppets,
etc, She doesn't need fancy toys, anything can be a plaything with Phebe! In
the summer she spends a lot of time hunting lizards. She is doggedly faithful
to her half-brother Bobo, who still likes to hold her down and clean her!
Maybe she knows he helped rescue her! She sleeps with me always and is
jealous of my boyfriend! We love her very much.
