Hi,
my name is Bink and I was adopted from the MSPCA in 2004 to one of the
luckiest humans around.
As soon as I got to my forever home, I started zipping around the house. At
my first vet appointment, my mom mentioned to the vet that I had a lot of
energy for a senior cat (the age on my shelter paperwork was listed as ten).
The vet checked me out and said "Bink is definitely not ten. More like three to five
years old." My mom was so happy.
While I can be demanding at times (especially when I am hungry), I am one of
the sweetest cats around. I love to cuddle and sit on my mom's lap whenever I
can. I like to be in the middle of everything going on at my house and I
particularly enjoy helping my mom type on her laptop. One of my favorite
things to do is explore the closets in my house especially my mom's closet.
If her closet door isn't open, I will meow in front of the door until she opens it.
I have a big bay window in my living room which is awesome for watching
birds, squirrels and even the occasional turkey. I have a cat bed in my
window, too, and my own comfy heating pad. I am one lucky cat!!!
I also love flowers (the real kind not artificial). When my mom gets a
bouquet of flowers, I really enjoy trying to destroy them by pulling off the
petals. I don't eat the petals... just rip them off. It's fun but it kind of
makes a mess. Roses are my absolute favorite.
I was diagnosed with kidney disease two years ago. Unfortunately the kidney
disease means more trips to the vet (which I hate). If you are thinking of
purchasing a cat, please consider adopting from your local animal shelter. We
make great companions. And just think... you might luck out and get an awesome cat like me.
