This
is Periwinkle Velvet, but he's usually called Perry or Pear for short.
He's just a white domestic medium-hair, a regular cat, and is four years old. He
was found as a kitten alone in a neighborhood, along with his sister Tamber
(who we also own). Tamber is his polar opposite (she's also a tuxedo cat,
adding to that opposite effect lol). He doesn't flinch at the loudest sounds,
whereas Tamber hides from strangers. She's the big affectionate baby though,
a complete attention-hound once she trusts you.
Pear, on the other hand, is totally aloof. He is a strong, independent cat
who doesn't need any human ... unless its dinner time, then he's all over
you. Otherwise, he fancies himself too awesome to be held or petted or looked
upon. He tolerates all these things though, with nothing more than an
irritated glare. Not known to hiss, bite or scratch, he's the chillest feline
I've ever owned. Perry is literally that cool kid from school that's just so
dang cool, he struts around and nobody messes with him. Except I, being a
silly human, do mess with him! I pluck him up off the ground and nuzzle him,
and he complains that I'm being uncool. He's a good cat to tolerate me anyway!
