Hi
there! My name is George, and, if you couldn't tell, I'm one handsome cat.
My owners got me from one of their "acquaintances" (as they call them) a year
and a half ago, and I couldn't be happier that they did. My old home wasn't
great, especially since I had to share my small food dish with all of my
other siblings. It was messy, disorganized and worst of all, it smelled bad.
Yuck. But I made sure that they adopted me and no one else, because I was the
cutest after all! ;)
I love meowing and purring. In fact I'm the loudest purrer in the house! But
what I love most is attention. I love it when my owners pet me or play with
me, and I always have energy to burn. Sometimes they even let me go out in
the backyard to explore the plants or lay in the sun. There's even a pond
back there that I've always loved (even after I've slipped and fallen into it
many times). But when I'm not outside, I'm in the house, probably running
around on the wood floors, even if they don't provide grip (but that's the
fun of them). I suppose I'm also pretty lazy, since I spend a lot of my day
curled up and napping in the sun wherever I can find it. That must be why
whenever I'm awake I have so much energy, and I always end up attacking or
chasing or even being chased by the two other cats or the dog. Don't get me
wrong, it's fun.
I have been accused of being evil by my owner, and I'm here to tell you,
that's not true. I'm mischievous, there's a difference. I do cause havoc from
scratching the walls to ripping up the newspapers, but I don't think I'm
evil. I'm too handsome for that. There's a spot in the living room, right in
front of the glass door on the cabinet, where I sit and talk to myself, but
my one owner thinks it's where I plan my "evil schemes," which isn't entirely
wrong. I plan my "mischievous schemes." (Again, there's a difference.) And I
always get away with those schemes, because I'm so cute.
But let's put all of my mischievousness aside, and I'm one great cat. I'm
smart, funny, playful, and most of all, handsome. How could I get any better
than that? And I know that my owners love me no matter what I do, even if it
drives them nuts. They tolerate me and love me, and I tolerate and love them
too, especially when they give me treats. I love my family so much and know
that, even though I drive them all crazy, they love me. And that's why
they're the best family a cat could ever have. (And it's not just because
they own me.)
