This
is Baxter. He is fourteen years old and was adopted as a kitten. He was
covered in fleas and had the worst ear mites I had ever seen. After a couple
of trips to the vet, he was cleared of all problems. He is very beautiful and
he knows it. He has a "All about me" attitude. He is a mommy's boy and rules the house.
I think Baxter sleeps most of the day. When I get home from work, he meets me
at the door demanding that I put food in his bowl and clean his sandbox and
give him attention. His most favorite things in the whole world would be to
be brushed and have catnip. Every evening he demands to be brushed while
holding his bag of catnip. Afterwards, he lays there holding the catnip just
relaxing. And after that, he goes to the bedroom and goes to sleep on my
pillow for the night.
He has become quite vocal in his old age. He talks to me a lot in the
mornings - I think he wants me to stay home with him, but when I am home, he
sleeps all day anyway. He is the best and I don't know what I would do
without him.
