Buddy
is a cat that I rescued a little over a year ago. He is my first pet
since living on my own, as well as my first cat ever! He is five to eight years old, we
are not sure exactly. I never thought of owning a cat as a pet because I have
always been a dog lover, but visiting the shelter one day, this guy just
stuck out to me because he is obviously gorgeous! He was staring at me while
I was walking around looking at all of the cats there. I went inside his area
in the cat room and when I sat down he came right over and laid down on my
lap. I knew then that I needed him in my life!
He is the most amazing cat in the world! His fur is so soft. His big ice blue
eyes are magnificent to look at. He is the ultimate trickster and always
keeps me entertained! I like to refer to him as the "White Panther" because
he has such a long body and looks like a regal wild animal when he stretches out.
Oh, I forgot to mention, he is also deaf, which you would think may be a
hindrance on his character, but you would never even know (unless you try to
call him when he is sleeping!) His favorite game is to throw his toys down
the stairs, then run down to get them and bring them back up to do all over
again! He loves to hide inside bags and boxes. He also loves to sleep!
Buddy is such a big part of my life, adopting him was the best decision I ever made!
