This
is Bailey Love also known as Bailey, Bay, BayBay, and Baby, and he is a
little over one year old. Bay was originally saved by a small family. It
consisted of one mom and two little girls who adored him. He was the only cat
in the family and was spoiled. They had to move to an apartment and couldn't
keep Bailey. That's when our family stepped in. We were friends with that
family, so we took him in. He went from being the only cat to being the only
male cat surrounded by four female cats. He's got two sets of sisters, one
set of five-month-old kittens and one set of eight-week-old kittens. The poor boy
is constantly picked on by the girls, but he stays calm and lets them pounce all over him.
Bailey loves to curl up on me when we sleep, preferring to sleep either
between my legs or on my face! I usually have to move him to my back or chest
so that he won't suffocate me at night. His room is full of toys to play with
but when someone is upset he is right there in their lap, squeaking up at
them until they laugh or smile.
His previous family comes and sees him every weekend. His favorite pass time
is to curl up against me and stare out the window at passing leaves, birds,
people, and cars. He loves to freak out my roommate by dragging around his
squeaking fake mouse and hiding it in her clothes, so when she picks them up
she gets scared. We do love him dearly.
