Ollie
is a rescue kitten from the SPCA, he is super special because he is
a polydactyl, which means he has extra toes on his front and back feet. If
you look you can see his thumbs - we like to tell people he is more
evolved than other cats. He is also quite good at picking things up with his "hands."
We think Ollie is actually a dog living in a cat's body. He likes walking
on his leash, rides in the car, going to the pet shop on his leash to buy
his food (that works well unless a really big dog suddenly notices he is a
cat). He sleeps on his back and likes tummy rubs. He is a super duper
climber which occasionally gets him into some interesting spots. Once he
even managed to squeeze his way in between the floor and the under floor
insulation. He is very vocal and likes to talk to anyone that will listen,
he is a super fly catcher and likes chasing bugs. He is quite cuddly, and
likes to lick and groom his favorite people! If you pat him he will lick
you. When he was smaller he used to sit on our shoulders like a parrot,
now he is a little bit too big for that which is a shame as we used to
call him our pirate cat.
I included a couple extra picture - in the one where he's wrapped in
newspaper, Ollie is being fish and chips! The other is Ollie on S.P.C.A Cupcake Day.
