Coco
is the sweetest little devil. Two month ago, my fiance and I decided to
get a cat, it's the first pet we have bought together. While I lived with my
parents, we always had a rescued or adopted cat. On my fiance's side, it's
the opposite, his father has a fur allergy so he never had a pet growing up.
For my fiance, it's his first pet, for me, it's my first kitten. In the shop,
we choose him because he was the only one to get on the upper shelves of the
cage, he and his brother were too small to jump at this height. Coco still
managed to get on the shelves by climbing on the bars. Yeah, he's definitely
a climber, in the first weeks he managed to climb up our coats to get on the
hooks, and get on the top of the wardrobe. His most recent accomplishment is
to get on the top of the bedroom door through our bed-robes (not before
taking a nap in my purse, though).
This stubborn little devil follows us around like a pocket dog and he
absolutely loves to be petted. He welcomes us when we come back home, but not
without a hint of reproach for leaving him alone. The funniest thing about
Coco is that you can have "conversations" with him, he respond to your
comments and questions. In a short lapse of time, he managed to change our
lives and to win our hearts.
