This
is my beautiful boy Illidan. He is a rescue cat. He was dumped at two
weeks because he was born with a tilted head. He was mistreated before he was
dumped. When I went to the cat shelter to look at the cats they had, all the
kittens paid me no mind. When I picked him up he straight away settled on my
shoulder and fell asleep. I took him home that day.
He got his name from a character in World of Warcraft. The day we bought him
home he sat on my desk and swiped at the characters running around on my
screen, so I had to give him a WoW name. He likes to sit on my desk and watch
videos with me. He also seems to have a raid sensor, he always knows when
I'm raiding and wants to come and chew on my headset microphone.
I have a physical disability that often causes my kneecaps to dislocate and
me to collapse. Whenever this happens Illidan stays by my side until help
arrives. It doesn't matter if he has food to eat, or a bug to chase he stays
with me. He always knows when I'm unwell or really sore and he walks around
with me all day. He is the most amazing cat I have ever raised. He is my
family now.
He is extremely spoiled, every room of the house has a super comfy bed for
him, he has a thousand toys all over the place. Illidan has a tendency to
steal peas, corn, carrots lettuce and pineapple off my plate. He tries to
steal my cereal as well. He gets birthday presents and Christmas presents as well.
His head tilt grew out and he only shows signs of it when he's very stressed.
He is an indoor cat as he doesn't like the outdoors. He is also very scared
of strange men and bolts under the nearest bed when someone visits.
He usually sleeps with one paw over his eyes and will sleep on the beds,
inside plastic bags, in cardboard boxes and on top of or inside backpacks.
Anywhere but his many beds. He likes to lay on pizza boxes, important
paperwork, keyboards and computer mice. He will chase you down and dig his
claws into your leg to get noodles. And pasta. And anything I want to eat, to be honest.
I have a thousand photos of him. He eventually stopped running from my camera
and now poses instead. He is my beautiful boy and I wouldn't give him up for the world.
