My
cat Jack was found as a stray wandering near houses with his brother. Over
time he became less afraid of people and so became part of a family, however
his brother seemed to have been hit by a car and passed away. At the
beginning Jack would bit and scratch everyone, but with love and time he
became a soft fluff ball.
He knows the basic command to sit and is slowly learning others (he will do
anything for food). He also has learnt to walk on a lead quite easily. When
ever you lose something small, like keys or your phone always check under
Jack as he always tends to sit and lay on things as if he is incubating an egg.
Jack loves to play with lazer lights they always bring out his inner kitten.
Also he loves playing with wires, which is quite cute until he tries playing
with your headphones whilst you are still listening to music. He loves boxes,
which makes everyone end up saying Jack In The Box!
Whenever we open the fridge he is straight in it looking for ham, luckily it
is too small for us to accidental shut him in. When he is out of the house of
leash on a walk he expects strangers to just stroke him, he goes up to them
and just stands and waits in front of them.
Once I left a packet of cheese puffs next to me and went to get one and found
Jack trying to get one too. He loves attention and loves to be petted that is
until you try tickling his belly, then he goes in for the kill on your arm.
He has gone from frightened aggressive stray to cuddly fat house cat that
head butts your hand when you are holding a drink.
He doesn't usually get along with other cats but sometimes you get an
exceptional cat which he will like and play with. He especially doesn't like
one of our other male cats called Toby (the cat with no tail) they have a
tenancy to scrap when it comes to who sleeps in front of the fire.
