Meet
Cassie! She is a nine-month-old rescue and full of personality. I have
had her since she was three months old. I had recently acquired a ragdoll.
After two months of being an only kitten with so much energy to burn, I
decided I should add a second. I thought long and hard but was hoping they
would get along and grow up together keeping each other company when I'm
away. We'll they are complete opposites but it all seems to work. Cassie's
has the most beautiful calico markings and a big bushy tail and she is just
so stinkin cute! She is very curious and loves to play, doesn't really like
to be held but loves to be petted and groomed on her terms.
When I got Cassie she was a tiny little thing weighing three pounds (1.4 kg)
versus my ragdoll kitten weighing in at almost eight pounds (3.6 kg). Little
Cassie never backed away when her brother was aggressive with her in the
beginning and was always faster and more agile so she could get away and
escape to little hide and places until he calmed down. Her brother was a bit
possessive at first but she was relentless and he has finally learned to
share both me and his possessions. It all took about a month but so glad I
took a chance on a rescue as she is the perfect companion for her ragdoll brother Zach.
